This spring Patrick and Gracie decided to play soccer! Because of Japan it has been a few years since we have done this sport and sometimes the spring can be a mess. BUT it turned out to be a great season. We participated through the YMCA and so it was low key. Patrick was on an older team and there were just enough kids to make up two teams in his age group, so they played each other everytime. Patrick really excelled over the season and proved to be one of the fastest out there. He really enjoyed the game and is looking forward to playing again.
Gracie loved it. She had a huge smile on her face the entire time she was running around. Her age group does not keep score and just concentrates on the basics. Her coach was very good with kids and really made it fun. One thing they did was have snack after each practice and game. Well, Daniel now is insisting that he play soccer next time b/c he wants snack!
Overall the weather was nice, we enjoyed our Saturday mornings at the soccer fields and the kids had a blast. Looking forward to more soccer in the Kruse Kritter's future......
