Basketball Pictures Finally!

Okay, basketball is officially over and Gracie and Patrick have now started soccer. I guess I should post the few pictures of the boys playing basketball before I forget. I have to admit that we do not have the best type of camera to take pictures in the Y gym - we had a few turn out okay!

We enjoyed basketball. Kevin enjoyed the game and really learned how to take advantage of his height. It was fun watching 1st and 2nd graders play. Each member of the team had a different color wrist band, then the members of the other team put a band to match one kid on the other team. This is how they teach you to stay with your man. It worked well. Kevin was able to make some baskets too! At this age they don't keep score.

Patrick enjoyed his first year playing as well. The kids were a little more skilled than him. With games being every other week and him missing a few b/c we were at the waterpark he probably didn't get as much out of it as I would have liked. I think until he plays again Bill will be working with him and Kevin to get their skills up. Gracie is going to play next year too.
