Happy Easter 2009

HE IS RISEN!
Here at the Kruse house we celebrate Easter with all the crazy secular traditions. The Easter Bunny visited, hid eggs and left baskets. We had a ham dinner with our friends the Traceys. We did an Easter Egg hunt with their kids. It was a mild clear sunny day. Very nice.
However, we do celebrate Easter for the holiday that is really is. The celebration of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rising from the grave. Easter is the heart of our faith. Without Easter we have no hope, we our dead to our own sins, we have no faith. So amongst the eggs and baskets and hunts we remember the reason for the season - thanking God for His son, His death on the cross, the ultimate sacrifice for our sinful life.
After church we went to a park and tried to take some pictures of the kids. Just as you are realizing that I am not a writer I am also not a photographer, but I try....So here is a few pics that were taken today:

We hope that all of you had a beautiful Easter day!
Happy Easter from our family to yours.
